7 Steps to Promote Affiliate Products or Services using Facebook Ads:
Step 1: Sign Up for Facebook Ads Create Account. You can sign up for Facebook ads by clicking the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/create
Step 2: Create Your First Campaign. Now that you are logged into your Facebook account, you can start creating your first campaign.
Step 3: Create A Targeting Group. In order to save as much money as possible for your advertising budget, it is important to target your specific audience or niche market.
When setting up your campaign, you will be able to create a specific targeting group based on some of the information people have listed on their Facebook profiles like their age, gender and location; in addition to the pages they like and what they share on their timeline.
Setting up the right targeting group will help you reach more of your potential customers with less ad spend.
Step 4: Create A Facebook Ad. In order to create your Facebook ad, you will need to choose the type of ad you want to run. You can chose from a link post, photo, video or sponsored stories. For the best results, I recommend creating a link post that has an interesting title and a compelling description like how we do it here on ProBlogger with our Expert Services section so that people click on the ads from their newsfeed and see your website.
Step 5: Set Up Your Bidding Settings . You will have an option to set up your bidding settings for your ads. After setting up your target audience for the ad campaign, you can then choose between automatic or manual bidding.
You can automatically set up your ads to run only during certain times of the day or you can manually choose when to run your ads. I recommend setting up manual bidding because it allows you to keep a close eye on how well your ad is performing. If the Facebook Ads platform does not perform as well with your specifications, you will know about it right away instead of losing money without knowing why.
Step 6: Start Your Campaign . Once you have setup all of your targeting groups and scheduling preferences, click “Start Campaign” at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: Facebook Ad Manager . Once you have finished setting up your campaign, Facebook will show you a preview of the ad that you just created. Now, it is time to target your ads and take them to the next level. Here is how we do this on ProBlogger with our Expert Services section .
